Dr. Megan Barber completed an honours degree in Immunology and Infection (2005), PhD in Immunology (2011), and MD (2014).

She pursued subspecialty medical training in Rheumatology at the University of Calgary, followed by a fellowship in Lupus and secondary Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS). She is a Rheumatologist and Clinician Investigator at the University of Calgary and is the Director of Clinical Research for the University of Calgary Lupus Centre of Excellence.
